How often should I visit Marvel Dental?

The American Dental Association and the team at Marvel Dental recommend twice a year visits in order to achieve and maintain your healthiest smile and prevent most common oral health issues.

What is periodontal disease?

Periodontal (gum) disease is one of the most common oral health concerns affecting more than half of US adults over 30. The disease begins mildly when bacteria and plaque buildup at the gum line causes irritation and bleeding gums. Left untreated, gum disease can lead to a number of more advanced oral health issues including tooth loss.

Should I be screened for oral cancer even if I don’t smoke?

Absolutely. 25% or more of oral cancer sufferers do not engage in any of the risky behaviors commonly associated with the disease, and early diagnosis is essential in offering successful treatment.

Can you brighten my teeth?

We offer both in-office and at-home professional teeth whitening that provide predictable results up to ten shades brighter.

What if I have an emergency after hours?

Call Marvel Dental right away. We’re happy to help patients experiencing dental emergencies when they need us most. We offer same day care in most cases, and we are happy to offer first aid recommendations until patients reach our office.

Can I straighten my teeth without noticeable metal brackets and wires?

We offer orthodontic treatment with virtually invisible clear, plastic alignment trays. The Invisalign system is fast, comfortable, and effective.

Do you take my insurance?

We are happy to process and file insurance claims for any provider to help patients maximize their coverage, and we work closely with many of the most common PPO plans.
